The IPL 2022 mega auction will be held on February 12-13 in Bengaluru. The BCCI finalised a list of 590 players who will be taking part in the auctions. Among them, there are 370 Indian players and 220 overseas players. Australia with 47 players is the country with most players apart from India in the auction. Earlier, a total of 1214 players had registered themselves for IPL 2022 auction.

Talking about the base price categories, the top three reserve prices are in the range of Rs. 2 crores, Rs. 1.5 crore and Rs. 1 crore. A total of 48 players are part of the Rs. 2 crore base price. 20 players have identified themselves in Rs. 1.5 crore base price while 34 players are part of the Rs. 1 crore bracket.
