Kolkata Knight Riders is the first team that might target David Warner in IPL 2022 auction. KKR has released their skipper Eoin Morgan from the squad. Hence, they are in need of a new skipper.

Warner has a good experience of leadership in IPL, as he led Sunrisers Hyderabad in multiple seasons. Hence, David Warner will be a good option for a skipper for KKR.

Punjab Kings is another team that can target the Australian batsman in IPL 2022 auction. Punjab Kings has retained only two players in their squad- Mayank Agarwal and Arshdeep Singh. The franchise could not crack a deal with their former skipper KL Rahul.
