Former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener is hopeful that Afghanistan’s prodigious talent Rahmanullah Gurbaz gets picked in the IPL 2022 auction.

It’s getting your team to gel together as soon as possible: Lance Klusener

Klusener is currently the head coach of Khulna Titans in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League 2022. The South African believes that bonding local players with overseas talent is a must for any franchise.

“I think it’s getting your team to gel together as soon as possible. You always work with talent which is great but I guess it’s getting even your local players to gel with overseas players,” he said.

“That is something first on my list because it’s not really about talent because I think that’s a given in franchise cricket it’s just really making sure that people are believing each other and trusting each other off the field as well,” he added.

Klusener played 49 Test matches and 171 ODI matches for South Africa before he hung his boots in 2004.
