IPL 2022 Auction: List of Overseas Players Who Have Set Their Base Price at INR 2 Crores

A total of 10 teams will participate in the upcoming IPL Mega-Auctions, which is scheduled to take place in the month of February in Bangalore. So far, a sum of 338 crores has been spent by the franchises to retain and acquire the players.
The eight existing franchise earlier named their respective list of retained players for the next edition of the tournament. The likes of Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Delhi Capitals have retained four players.

Other franchises such as Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Rajasthan Royals retained three players, while Punjab Kings retained only two.
The two new franchises, Ahmedabad and Lucknow, have also named their three picks acquired from the available pool. The rest of the players have gone back to the auction pool.
As per reports, a total of 1214 players have registered themselves for the mega auctions. It includes 896 Indians and 318 overseas. To further break it down, the list includes 270 capped, 903 uncapped, and 41 Associate players.
Among all the counties except India, Australia (59) and South Africa (48) have the most players taking part in the auctions.

There are a lot of players who have set their base price at INR 2 crores at the auctions. The list includes both Indians as well as overseas players.
Talking about the overseas players, some of the big names such as Kagiso Rabada, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Faf du Plessis, and Quinton de Kock among others have put themselves under the 2 crore bracket. The players in this bracket will see their bidding start from the base price of INR 2 crore at the auctions.
