IPL 2022: Don't Agree With Me, Ask MS Dhoni"- Aakash Chopra Brings Out Flaws In The KKR Bowling Squad

Aakash Chopra has identified a worry in the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowling department that might be the team’s Achilles heel in the IPL 2022.
Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy, as well as batting all-rounders Andre Russell and Venkatesh Iyer, were retained by the two-time winners ahead of the IPL 2022 Auction. Some of the frontline bowlers they got in the mega auction were Pat Cummins, Shivam Mavi, Tim Southee, and Umesh Yadav.
KKR’s biggest priority, according to Aakash Chopra, is death bowling. He clarified:
“Their only issue is that they don’t have any death bowlers. They’ve got everything except death bowlers. They’ll force Shivam Mavi to do it, but he’s not your go-to gun death bowler. They’ll get Umesh Yadav to do it; is he your gun death bowler? If you don’t believe me, ask MS Dhoni; think about it.”
Pat Cummins, KKR’s huge overseas recruit, is likewise not known for his death-bowling abilities, as per the former India cricketer. Chopra continued, ”
“They’ll force Pat Cummins to do it, and yet is he your gun death bowler? Whatever would he do here if he doesn’t do gun death bowling for Australia? Pat Cummins, on the other hand, is an all-rounder who may be used in that capacity.”
Aakash Chopra believes that Iyer’s leadership of KKR will be interesting to observe:
Shreyas Iyer has been selected as the new captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders for the 2018 IPL season. Iyer was the most expensive purchase for Knight Riders at the IPL 2022 auction last weekend, costing INR 12.25 crore and became their highest-paid player by surpassing Andre Russell’s INR 12 crore salary.
In the IPL, Iyer has captained in 41 games, winning 21, losing 18, and drawing two.
