IPL 2022: Followed Rajasthan Royals For First Three Years In IPL Due To Shane Warne: Yuzvendra Chahal

Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has shared his thoughts on the sudden demise of Shane Warne. The Australian spin legend passed away in Thailand on Match 4, 2022. As per reports, he died due to a sudden heart attack after complaining of chest pain before leaving for a trip to Thailand.
Yuzvendra Chahal will turn up for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022, a franchise that had a long-lasting association with Shane Wane. He led them to their first IPL title back in 2008 and then was the mentor of the franchise as well.
By giving opportunities to youngsters, Warnie always backed them to bring out their best and show it to the world.

Talking to Rajasthan Royals’ official Twitter handle, Chahal spoke about his first impressions of Shane Warne. He further said that he followed the Royals for the first three years in the IPL due to the presence of Warne in the team. Thus there is no doubt as to who might have inspired Chahal to take up leg-spin.
“In 2008, the team I followed was Rajasthan Royals because Shane Warne sir was in it. He was my idol. Till the time I didn’t join IPL, the first three years, I followed Rajasthan Royals religiously and I watched every single match because of Warne sir.”
Further, about the franchise, Yuzvendra Chahal said the Royals is a franchise that makes young players in the team feel wanted.
“I felt that this team welcomes youngsters and it’s good to see how they take chances on unknown players who later become superstars.”
The Royals also came up with an emotional tribute to Shane Warne’s unfortunate death. It said that Warne made them believe that the impossible is a myth and was a leader who walked the talk.
