IPL 2022: I Will Be A Helping Hand In Any Way I Can - Jasprit Bumrah On Leading MI Pace Attack
Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Jasprit Bumrah is playing in his 10th season for the franchise. He is their lead pacer in the bowling attack now for both MI and for the Indian team across formats.
Having come up while playing alongside the likes of Lasith Malinga and being coached by Zaheer Khan, Bumrah has what it takes to begin imparting his knowledge to the youngsters coming up in the IPL.
He asserted that his door is always open to the players who need any advice. Additionally, Bumrah was recently the vice-captain of the Indian Test team and he can also contribute in the leadership role.
“If at all somebody needs my help, I can help anyone in any capacity. I am always there to help and I am always excited to do that. So yeah, if anything comes up in that scenario, I am always there and I will be a helping hand in whatever way I can,” Bumrah said in a video posted by MI on YouTube.
Notably, he rose to fame in the IPL after people began noticing his quirky bowling action. Since then, he has improved leaps and bounds and has become one of the best among his contemporaries.
“This is my 10th season of the IPL, so many memories and special moments. Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows and everything in between, I’m grateful for everything that was and hopeful for everything to come,” he mentioned.
