Moreover, the 2 new teams will be allowed to pick 3 players directly from the players’ draft. In every IPL auction, there are few players who bag a big deal. Suresh Raina is the first player on this list. Suresh Raina is part of the Chennai Super Kings currently. However, the franchise is highly expected to release him ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction. Suresh Raina did not manage to come up with good knocks in IPL 2021.

Due to this, he was also dropped from the last few games. Suresh Raina will be part of the next year’s mega auction and he might go unsold in the auction.

4. Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik is part of Kolkata Knight Riders. The franchise is likely to release him from the squad. His performance in IPL 2021 was not up to the mark and he has also lost his form in batting. If KKR releases Dinesh Karthik ahead of IPL 2022 auctions, he might not be able to find a buyer in the auction.

3. Robin Uthappa

Robin Uthappa is another player who might go unsold in IPL 2022 mega auction. Robin Uthappa became part of Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021 and played a few games in the tournament. However, he will not be retained by the franchise for the next edition.

He got out for little scores as Sunrisers Hyderabad produced a horrible performance in the tournament. He will be released by Sunrisers Hyderabad next year and due to his poor show in the last 2 seasons, he might go unsold in next year’s mega auction.
