In the Indian Premier League 2022, the 31-year-old was able to play only 8 games as he missed the first few games due to an injury. However, his performance in the 8 games was brilliant as he smashed 303 runs for Mumbai Indians at an impressive average of 43.29, including 3 half-centuries.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have already been knocked out of the Indian Premier League 2022 after suffering 8 consecutive defeats and in Suryakumar’s absence, they will test the bench strength of the team by replacing him with a youngster.
