Punjab Kings revealed their jersey for IPL 2022. Punjab Kings will begin their journey in IPL 2022 with the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The encounter will take place on March 27 at DY Patil Academy Stadium in Mumbai.

The team will be led by Mayank Agarwal in the tournament. Last season in IPL 2022, PBKS gave a poor show. The team finished on the 6th spot in the points table after the league stage. Led by KL Rahul in IPL 2021, the team won 6 matches and lost 8 out of 14 matches.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) Reveals Their Jersey For IPL 2022

Some tweets revealed Punjab Kings’ jersey for IPL 2022 went viral on social media platform Twitter. The franchise has retained their red colour in their jersey. Have a look at PBKS’ jersey for IPL 2022 below.

Ahead of IPL 2022 auction, the team retained 2 players in their squad. PBKS retained Mayank Agarwal for Rs. 12 crores and Arshdeep Singh for Rs. 4 crores. Later, they also named Mayank Agarwal as their skipper for IPL 2022. The team’s former skipper KL Rahul is part of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2022.

During IPL 2022 auction, Punjab bought 23 players in their squad. Liam Livingstone was the most expensive player for the franchise at Rs. 11.5 crores. Some key Indian players that PBKS bought during the auction were Shikhar Dhawan, Rahul Chahar, Shahrukh Khan, and Raj Angad Bawa.
