Kolkata Knight Riders, however, opted not to retain him for the next edition, which means that he will find himself at the mega-auctions.

Pat Cummins could bring a variety in the pace-attack for Punjab Kings and they might break their bank to acquire his services for the next edition of the tournament. In his IPL career so far, Pat Cummins has managed to pick 38 wickets in 37 wickets at an average of 30.13.

2. Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel wreaked havoc with the ball last year while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. Perhaps, no one had expected Harshal Patel to finish the season as the highest wicker-taker. He was the standout performer for Royal Challengers Bangalore last season. Every time the team was in trouble, Harshal Patel managed to pick wickets and break partnerships.

Dwayne Bravo is one of the prominent names who will be up for grabs in the mega-auctions. Dwayne Bravo’s records in T20 cricket speak for themselves. He has played an instrumental role in CSK’s success in IPL. The franchise, however, has decided to let him go for the next edition of IPL.

Dwayne Bravo adds a lot more variety in the pace attack and also adds depth in the batting line-up. Bravo has a vast experience of bowling in the middle overs as well as at the death. Punjab Kings could help a lot for themselves if they manage to buy his services at the auctions.
