IPL 2022 is all set to commence in a few weeks and cricket fans are highly excited to witness the tournament. IPL 2022 will feature 10 teams that will battle against each other for the title. In the opening game on March 26, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

5. Rishabh Pant- 128*

Rishabh Pant takes the 5th spot on this list. In the 2018 season, the left-handed batsman slammed an unbeaten 128-run knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Pant, who was part of Delhi Capitals in the season, took the team’s total to 187-5 in the 1st innings with his fabulous knock.

He slammed 15 fours and 7 sixes during his innings. However, Delhi Capitals finished on a losing side in the match. With Shikhar Dhawan’s 92 and Kane Williamson’s 83, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to win the match by 9 wickets.

4. KL Rahul- 132*

In IPL 2020, KL Rahul smacked unbeaten 132 runs while playing for Punjab Kings against Royal Challengers Bangalore. This is the 4th highest individual score in Indian Premier League so far. The right-handed batsman scored 132 runs off just 69 deliveries, smashing 14 fours and 7 sixes.

With KL Rahul’s wonderful batting, Punjab Kings reached 206-3 on the scoreboard. Later, the opposition team Royal Challengers Bangalore was bowled out for 109 and lost the match by 97 runs.

3. AB de Villiers- 133*

AB de Villiers grabs the 3rd spot on this list. In IPL 2015, the right-handed batsman hit unbeaten 133 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The former RCB player played just 59 balls for his knock, hitting 19 fours and 4 sixes.

With De Villiers’ unbeaten century, RCB reached 235-1 on the board in the 1st innings. Later, the opposition team Mumbai Indians could only reach 196-7 in 20 overs and lost the match by 39 runs.

2. Brendon McCullum- 158*

In the first-ever match of the debut season in IPL 2008, Brendon McCullum slammed an unbeaten knock of 158 for Kolkata Knight Riders. This still holds the record for the 2nd highest individual score in the tournament.

The right-handed batsman slammed 10 fours and 13 sixes for his unbeaten 158, facing just 73 deliveries. KKR reached a mammoth total of 222-3 in the match batting first. Later, the opposition team Royal Challengers Bangalore was bowled out for just 82 runs and lost the match by 140 runs.

Chris Gayle owns the record for the highest-ever knock in a match in IPL. In the 2013 season, Gayle scored unbeaten 175 runs while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. During his impeccable knock, Gayle played just 66 balls and shattered 13 fours and 7 sixes.

RCB reached a mammoth total of 263-5 batting first, which is still the top team score in Indian Premier League. Later, Pune Warriors succumbed to 133-9 in the 2nd innings and lost the match by 130 runs.
