RCB vs MI Dream11 Prediction

The Shreyas Iyer-led side has so far put on some incredible performances in the cash-rich tournament and is placed first on the points table with as many as three wins out of their four matches in the league. They would be hoping to keep on the winning momentum and maintain the top spot on the table.

Kolkata Knight Riders were in a spate of bother against Mumbai Indians as they lost 5 wickets for 101 runs in the 13.1 over. But Pat Cummins hit the joint-fastest fifty in IPL history as Kolkata Knight Riders reached the target of 162 in only the 16th over. Ajinkya Rahane

Released from India’s Test team and picked for his base price of 1 crore, Ajinkya Rahane looked like a million bucks during his stay against CSK. Ajinkya Rahane scored 44 off 34 balls with six fours and one six and provided a good start to his team. Since then he has been relatively quiet and has managed 72 runs so far in 4 appearances.

Venkatesh Iyer

A run-a-ball 16 against CSK, the all-around option which Venkatesh Iyer brings to the team is indispensable. Venkatesh Iyer would want to produce a repeat of his heroics last year. Venkatesh Iyer, who opened for KKR last time and is a medium pacer had a sensational run in the UAE leg of IPL 2021 by amassing 370 runs in just 10 games averaging 41.11 with 4 fifties. He returned to form against Mumbai, with his unbeaten 50 crucial in the team’s victory.

Nitish Rana

Nitish Rana was brought for 8 crores by his previous team and Kolkata Knight Riders would expect the left-handed batter to prove his worth before it gets late. A score of 21 off 17 balls wasn’t the worst start but some more runs in the middle order and Nitish Rana could do some real damage to the opposition. He hasn’t set the stage on fire as he has amassed only 39 runs in 4 games.

The left-handed batter had a prolific start to the previous IPL season but lost his way in the middle to end up with 383 runs in 16 innings at an average of 29.46 with two half-centuries.

Shreyas Iyer

With Kolkata Knight Riders chasing a 132-run target, captain Shreyas Iyer began IPL 2022 on a fine note. He remained unbeaten on 20 and saw his team through the finish line. Shreyas Iyer would be hoping to get some more runs under his belt.

Shreyas Iyer aggregated 204 runs without being dismissed across three innings against Sri Lanka in recently concluded T20Is at a highly impressive strike rate of 174.36. He registered scores of 57*(28), 74*(44), and 73*(45) across three games. Shreyas Iyer has acquired in the recently-conducted 2022 IPL auction for a whopping sum of Rs 12.25 crore. He has scored only 69 runs so far in IPL 2021 and would certainly look to make amends against DC’s strong bowling line-up.

Sam Billings

Currently, on a shortage of overseas resources, England’s Sam Billings batted well to score 25 off 22 balls against CSK but lost his wicket having gotten a start. Once the other overseas stars return, if Sam Billings doesn’t make the most of his opportunities, his place could be under threat.

Sam Billings will be the first choice wicketkeeper in the playing XI with not much IPL experience for Sheldon Jackson and Baba Indrajith. He has scored 334 runs in 19 IPL innings at a strike rate of 133.6. He has scored 80 runs so far playing all 4 games.

Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins finally arrived with a bang after missing the first 3 games of KKR due to international commitments and quarantine norms. Against Mumbai Indians, when Kolkata Knight Riders were in a spot of bother, pacer Pat Cummins hit the joint-fastest fifty in IPL history as Kolkata Knight Riders reached the target of 162 in only the 16th over.

Pat Cummins’ scored an unbeaten 56 off only 15 balls which were studded with 4 boundaries and 6 sixes. He reached his fifty in only 14 balls and made up for his expensive bowling effort (2/49 in 4 overs). He may be promoted up the order in the next few games.

Andre Russell

‘Muscle’ Andre Russell has been a match-winner for KKR over the years and won games single-handedly. Andre Russell is off late struggling with hamstring and knee injuries. Andre Russell has scored 183 runs and picked up 11 wickets in IPL 2021. in the last two seasons, Andre Russell’s performance has been below par. He has scored 106 runs so far in 4 IPL games including an unbeaten 70 in a match-winning innings against Punjab.

Sunil Narine

Even after all these years, Sunil Narine remains one of the toughest bowlers to face in the IPL. He isn’t as mysterious as he once was but Sunil Narine is still outfoxing batters. Sunil Narine has picked up 16 wickets and scored 62 runs in IPL 2021. He is in the list of top 5 wicket-takers in IPL. Since 2014, he has played for Kolkata Knight Riders. He has picked only 2 scalps so far but has been economical-4.75.

Umesh Yadav

KKR managed to lift the IPL title when Umesh Yadav was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad during the 2014 edition. He is the purple cap holder currently in IPL 2022 with 9 scalps in 4 games averaging a mere 9.33.

Umesh Yadav became only the fourth bowler after Brett Lee, Chaminda Vaas and Iqbal Abdullah picked up a wicket in the first over of a fresh season of the IPL. Umesh Yadav finished with 2/20 against CSK in an economical spell and a similar effort will surely give Kolkata Knight Riders an early advantage.

Rasikh Salam Dar, the pacer from Jammu And Kashmir, debuted in Kolkata Knight Riders’ last match against Mumbai and although he remained wicketless, he conceded only 18 runs in his 3 overs. He is a cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir.

He became the third cricketer in the valley to get a chance in the IPL in IPL 2019. The Mumbai Indians bought him at the auction where he got a chance to play in just one match, but, after that, he was not seen in IPL. In June 2019, Rasikh Salam Dar, the Jammu and Kashmir seamer, was handed a 2-year ban by the BCCI following a discrepancy – the submission of a faulty birth certificate to the BCCI.
