Aakash Chopra hailed Rajat Patidar for his match-winning knock in the IPL 2022 Eliminator game between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Patidar scored an undefeated 112 runs off 54 deliveries as RCB set a tremendous 208-run target for LSG. Their bowling attack then confined KL Rahul’s side to a score of 193/6, allowing them to succeed by 14 runs and advance to the second qualifier.

Aakash Chopra was especially pleased with the Indore-born cricketer’s demolition of Krunal Pandya. The former Indian batsman explained:
“Rajat Patidar is by far hesitation my Player of the Match. There’s been one Krunal Pandya over, and it was game-changing excessively because they had previously managed to keep on a tight leash. Was it book cricket that he hit while standing at his place? Who hits like that?”

“He finished undefeated, and Bangalore thrived. Nobody has scored a century in a playoff before him. He is the first uncapped player this season to score a century.”
Aakash Chopra on Rajat Patidar’s performance in a crucial match:
Aakash Chopra stated that Patidar seized his chance with both hands. He elaborated:
“What a setting he chose. ‘Where skill true success,’ it says on the IPL trophy, and you might not have got a much better possibility than this. He arrived as a replacement player because no one bid on him at the auction.”

“He was previously a member of this team, but they did not repurchase him. Because of an injury, he was given the opportunity” Aakash Chopra Added.
Rajat Patidar was brought in to replace the injured Luvnith Sisodia. He has created the most of his opportunity, scoring 275 runs in six innings with an average of 55.00 and a strike rate of 156.25.
