Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) speedster Avesh Khan cleaned up star Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batsman Jos Buttler in the 63rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, May 15.
The 31-year-old English wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler batted exceptionally well in the first half of the Indian Premier League 2022, smashing centuries and half-centuries back-to-back.
However, in the last 6 games, he has crossed the 50 runs mark in just one game but his performance in the first half of the tournament was so dominant that he is still the highest run-getter in the IPL 2022.
Meanwhile, he was able to score only 2 runs off 6 balls in the match against Rajasthan Royals before getting dismissed by Avesh on the second ball of the 3rd over.
Avesh delivered a 136.8kph length ball to Buttler that was angling in and the Rajasthan Royals opener shuffled across to play the scoop shot but he missed his shot completely and the ball knocked over the off-stump.
Rajasthan Royals Make Two Changes And Lucknow Super Giants Make One Change To The Playing XI In Match 63
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first in the match. They made two big changes to the playing XI as all-rounder Jimmy Neesham replaced Rassie Van Der Duusen and pacer Obed Mccoy replaced Kuldeep Sen.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants made just one change as star leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi replaced Karan Sharma. After a slow start the Sanju Samson-led side, at the time of writing, were at 30/1 with captain Sanju Samson and young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal out in middle.
