SunRisers Hyderabad face Mumbai Indians in a must-win game in match 65 of IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium on May 17. A win keeps them alive in the playoffs race while a loss knocks them out of the campaign. Mumbai Indians, who are themselves knocked out would like to knock SRH out as well.
SRH are on a five-match losing streak heading into this game and their previous loss was against KKR. They are placed eighth on the points table currently and needs big wins to move up the ladder and improve on their net run-rate as well. Abhishek Sharma
Sharma is the highest run-scorer for SRH this season with 374 runs from 12 games. He will continue to open the batting with Williamson.
Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi will bat at number three. He has scored 317 runs from 12 matches. IN the previous match against KKR, he scored nine off 12 balls.
Aiden Markram
Markram has scored over 350 runs in the season for SunRisers Hyderabad. Along with Sharma and Tripathi, he has been consistent for the side. He will bat at number four.
Nicholas Pooran
The Windies southpaw will bat at number five. He has scored 263 runs from 12 games this season. For Hyderabad to qualify, Pooran has to score big in the last two games.
Washington Sundar
Sundar on his return game was expensive for SRH against KKR. He scored just 4 from nine balls in SRH’s chase which they failed to achieve.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been economical as ever for SRH. He went for 27 runs against KKR and picked up one wicket. He has picked up 11 wickets so far this season.
Umran Malik
Malik picked up three for 33 as he bounced out the KKR batters. His pace is still posing problems for the opposition batsmen. He is eighth on the Purple Cap list with 18 wickets to his name.
T Natarajan
Natarajan concludes the strongest looking playing XI for SunRisers Hyderabad against MI. He too has 18 wickets to his name this season so far.
