Rajasthan Royals are heading into this contest following their loss to GT in Qualifier 1. The Titans are already in the final and will play the winner of this match in the final. The Royals were dominated by the Titans in that game with David Miller an ex-RR taking his current team over the finishing line.

Sanju Samson’s captaincy and maturity will be put to test in the second qualifier. The Royals fielders dropped catches at the key moments in that game, something which they would like to correct in another knockout game that they play. For the Royals, if they lose, there is no tomorrow.

They played the perfect game in the Eliminator and won it against LSG. This was the third straight Eliminator that RCB played and proved third-time lucky. Rajat Patidar’s onslaught with the bat was well complimented by Dinesh Karthik’s finishing skills. Their bowlers then backed up the good work by defending the target and winning by 14 runs.

The side would very much want to replicate their performance and go ahead and play the final of IPL 2022. Virat Kohli would want to get some runs at the top as would skipper Faf.
