The Madhya Pradesh batter Patidar has delivered amazing performances consistently for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League 2022. Also, he looked in great touch in the match against Punjab Kings.

Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar, who replaced Sandeep Sharma in the PBKS playing XI, came to bowl the 9th over of the match for his team.

After conceding 2 runs on the first two balls, he was smashed for a huge 102-meters six by Rajat Patidar on the 4th ball of the over as the Royal Challengers Bangalore batter took full advantage of the length delivery and hammered it over the long-on.

Notably, Patidar injured an old fan sitting in the stands with his marvellous looking six as the ball landed on his head. However, it looked like there was nothing much serious. Also, on the next delivery, Brar got smashed for four and he conceded 13 runs in the over.

Batting first, Punjab Kings batter Jonny Bairstow provided his team with an outstanding start. After Bairstow’s wicket, Liam Livingstone played a sensational knock and helped Punjab Kings (PBKS) score 209 runs.

Chasing the target, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost 3 wickets inside powerplay overs. Virat Kohli was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada in the 4th over and Rishi Dhawan dismissed Faf du Plessis and Mahipal Lomror in the 5th over.
