Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Josh Hazlewood dismissed Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batsman Jos Buttler in the 39th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Tuesday, April 26.

However, Buttler failed to provide RR with a good start in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore as he got out after scoring just 8 runs off 9 balls.
Star pacer Hazlewood came to bowl the 5th over and on the very first delivery, he dismissed man in-form Buttler. The RCB pacer delivered a short length ball just outside off and Buttler pulled it flat into the hands of the mid-on fielder. Siraj, who was at mid-on, dived forward to complete the catch with both hands. Also, that over by Hazlewood was a wicket-maiden.

Earlier, Shahbaz Ahmed opened the attack for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Rajasthan Royals’ opening duo of Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal and he conceded just 5 runs in the over.
Mohammed Siraj came up to bowl the second over and on the very first delivery, Devdutt Padikkal smashed him for a six but on the 4th delivery the pacer made a comeback and dismissed RR opener for 7. However, Siraj ended up conceding 14 runs in the over as No.3 batter Ravichandran Ashwin smashed two back-to-back fours.
Josh Hazlewood bowled the third over and gave away just 6 runs and Siraj ended Ashwin’s 17 runs cameo in the 4th over with a short ball and conceded 8 runs.
In the 5th over RR batters failed to score any run and in the 6th over they scored 10 runs to help RR reach 43 runs at the end of the powerplay.
