The RCB skipper missed out on his century against Lucknow by just four runs. He dominated the Lucknow attack in the last game and especially against the spinners. So far he has scored 250 runs in seven matches.

Anuj Rawat

Rawat has been playing handy cameos opening the batting for his side. However, against Lucknow, he was dismised early. The side has stuck with him in the first half of the season and is likely to back him in the remaining half as well. the southpaw will open the batting alongside Faf.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has been struggling to score runs in IPL 2022. He was dismissed for a first-ball duck against Lucknow. He has not scored a half-century so far in the season. Ravi Shastri was of the view that Kohli was overcooked and probably needs a break.

Glenn Maxwell

Maxwell has scored 112 runs this season so far with one fifty to his name. He joined the squad from their third game and since then has played all four games. Against Lucknow, Maxwell scored a quickfire 23 off 11 balls.

Suyash played a match-winning cameo against CSK. However, since then he has tapered off a little bit. He scored just 10 against Lucknow. He has been brilliant in the field however and the run-out of Moeen Ali was an example of his athletic ability on the field.

Shahbaz Ahmed

The southpaw has played sone handly cameos and will slot in at number six in the line-up. Alongside Dinesh Karthik at the other end, Ahmed has been adding key partnerships with the bat and taking key wickets with the ball as well. Against Lucknow, he scored 26 off 22 balls and gave just 25 runs off his four overs.

Karthik has scored 210 from the seven games that he has played so far. He has been acing the finisher’s role and is looking for a comeback in the India squad for the T20 World Cup as well. He has already hit 15 sixes so far in the season.

Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel has rejoined the RCB side after his commitments with his family. So far he has taken eight wickets in six games. Against Lucknow, he went for 47 runs and took two wickets.

Wanindu Hasaranga

Hasaranga bowled two overs for 20 runs against Lucknow. SO far in IPL 2022, he has picked up 11 wickets from seven games and is fifth in the top wicket-takers list.

Josh Hazlewood

Hazlewood has already picked up 8 wickets from just three games for Royal Challengers Bangalore this season. Against Lucknow, he picked a four-fer and turned the match on its head. The side will hope he keeps the form going.
