RR vs KKR: Twitter Reacts As Yuzvendra Chahal Takes A Stunning Hat-Trick Against KKR

Rajasthan Royals (RR) leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal set the Brabourne Stadium alight with a brilliant hat-trick in the death overs of the run chase against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday.
Coming in to bowl the 17th over when Kolkata was bossing the chase of 218 at 178/4, Chahal took four wickets and conceded just two runs to turn the game on its head.
He first dismissed Venkatesh Iyer, who stepped down the track and was stumped by Sanju Samson. The next wicket was the most crucial one, that of Shreyas Iyer who was batting on 85 and looking set to take KKR home.’
He caught him plumb in front of the wicket to further dent KKR’s hopes. Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins were then undone by simple leg breaks, leading to a celebratory run from Chahal which ended in a pose for the cameras.
His wife and content creator, Dhanashree Varma, was elated and so was the RR camp. It is the 21st hattrick in the history of the IPL and also the fifth by a player from the Rajasthan Royals franchise.
Additionally, Chahal ended with figures of 5/40 in four overs which happens to be his first-ever five-wicket haul in the league. Expectedly, Twitter was abuzz once again with Chahal’s close friend and partner-in-crime, Kuldeep Yadav, also joining in to congratulate the leggie.
