Updated - 19 Apr 2022, 01:38 PM

Aaron Finch and Prasidh Krishna exchanged words during the IPL 2022 match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Englishman Jos Buttler’s splendorous 61-ball 103 comprising nine fours and five sixes striking at 168.55 powered Royals to a praiseworthy total of 217/5.

KKR suffered a shocker in the first ball of their chase with Sunil Narine getting run out by Shimron Hetmyer’s impressive direct hit from the cover. Finch along with skipper Shreyas Iyer rebuild KKR’s innings to set the platform for the chase with a stand of 107 between the two iconic players.

After being watchful in the earlier part of his innings, Finch rose to the occasion to complete his fifty in 25 deliveries and shrug off his scratchy form in white-ball cricket. The Australian limited-overs skipper hit Krishna for a boundary to reach his 15th IPL half-century.
