RR vs RCB: Brad Hogg Believes Rajasthan Royals Bowling Is Weak

IPL 2022: Former Australian leg-spinner Brad Hogg believes that Rajasthan Royals have a weak bowling lineup.
According to Hogg, RR doesn’t have pace in their arsenal. He also feels that this would put RR bowlers under pressure against the likes of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis in their forthcoming match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Rajasthan Royals Bowlers Might Struggle Against Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis: Brad Hogg
Brad Hogg in his YouTube video said that the only weak link in the Rajasthan Royals side is their pace bowling which lacks pace. He said: “RR don’t really have any pace in their attack and up against the likes of Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli up top, they’re going to be put under extreme pressure. But if they get a few early wickets, RR will get on top. But their bowling against du Plessis and Kohli is going to be a big test for them. Their bowling is probably their weak link.”
This statement comes as a surprise as RR does have the likes of Trent Boult and Prasiddh Krishna in their ranks. Navdeep Saina too is known for his pace. If Navdeep isn’t fit then the Royals do have an option to play Kuldeep Singh, a left is a pacer who can also clock 140KMPH.
RCB and RR will be up against each other in the 13th league match of this year’s Indian Premier League. The match is set to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from 7:30 PM IST.
Hogg also put his weight behind Jasprit Bumrah and Tymal Mills to stop Kolkata Knight Riders Andre when Mumbai Indians face Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday in the 14th game of the season.
Hogg said: “Andre Russell struggled against Harshal Patel in KKR’s last match because of the slower pace and the way Patel was attacking different lines, Russell was bamboozled. I don’t see anyone apart from Tymal Mills in the MI attack who can do the same job against him. Also, Jasprit Bumrah with his quick yorkers. They are the only two bowlers who will have a dominant match up against Russell. So they’d hope that they have overs from these two towards the end to attack Russell.”
Mumbai has lost both its opening game. They would hope to make a comeback into the tournament by winning against KKR.
