Delhi Capitals are coming off a thumping win against the Punjab Kings and they have an important match coming up against the mighty Mumbai Indians tomorrow. Delhi will have some revenge to finish off as they lost all four games against Mumbai Indians in the previous edition.

Both sides have some very exciting Indian talent and it is expected to be a belter of a contest between the two finalists of the last season. Dhawan’s form has been a big plus for the Delhi side and the bowling looks sorted and they don’t have much to worry about. Prithvi Shaw:

Prithvi Shaw is going to very crucial in this match considering that he has had a very poor record against a good seam attack. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah have got the better of the Delhi top order on most of the occasions and this is going to be a big challenge for Prithvi Shaw despite his good run of form.

Prithvi Shaw scored a quickfire 32 off just 17 balls giving the much-needed start for the Delhi Capitals side against Punjab in a massive run chase.

He played mind-boggling shots against the likes of Mohammad Shami in the powerplay and if he can stay pace his innings well, then the runs will come quickly for the Delhi Capitals. Delhi will be hoping he stays long in the crease which could make a lot of difference to the team.

Marcus Stoinis:

The Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has played a vital part in the Delhi Capitals set up in the previous edition and his best is yet to come in this season. He had a slightly off day against the Rajasthan Royals but came back well in the previous game to finish off the game for the Delhi side against the Punjab franchise.

Stoinis scored 27 runs off 13 balls in the previous game with one six and three fours which shifted the game towards the Delhi Capitals side completely.

Mumbai has a pretty good bowling side and Stoinis will be an important batsman if Delhi needs to get ahead of the Mumbai side. He can hit the big sixes and can change the match around in a very quick time.

Ravichandran Ashwin:

Ravichandran Ashwin hasn’t been at his best in the tournament so far and he did not pick up any wickets against the Punjab side in the previous game. He bowls really well against the left-handers and Mumbai with two left-handers in the top order will be aware of the threat imposed by Ashwin.

Ashwin bowled four overs in the last game giving away 28 runs at an economy rate of seven. He must continue to flight the ball instead of increasing the pace and concentrate on his traditional way of bowling which is going to yield him many wickets.

He has been firing in the carrom ball most often which is now far from the surprise delivery from Ashwin. If he can get his rhythm going, he will be a match-winner against the Mumbai Indians.
