CSK vs KKR Head to Head Records: Chennai Super Kings’ H2H Record Against Kolkata Knight Riders- IPL 2021 Match 38. The 38th match of IPL 2021 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. Neither of them has lost a game in the second leg of IPL 2021 in UAE. In two matches played thus far, CSK have managed to win both of them. And, as a result of that, they have reached the top of the table with 7 wins in 9 matches.
Rituraj Gaikwad has been the standout player for them. He has top-scored for the team in both the games and this is a positive sign for CSK. Faf du Plessis is their leading run-getter. Besides, the middle-order has been amongst the runs as well. Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni spent some time in the middle and scored a few boundaries. Their return to form could make this side an improbable batting unit.
Dwayne Bravo has been the wrecker in chief for them. He has picked a three-for in both games. Shardul Thakur was brilliant with his cutters and played a pivotal role in bringing CSK back in the game after RCB wreaked havoc in the first half of the innings. Deepak Chahar went for plenty of runs in the powerplay in the last game but that shouldn’t be a concern for them.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders, too, are coming on the back of two consecutive wins. With those wins, KKR have climbed to the fourth position on the points table. Having made such a good start, Eoin Morgan wouldn’t want to lose the winning momentum from here.
Venkatesh Iyer’s inclusion in the team has turned out to be a great decision so far. Iyer has managed to give KKR aggressive starts at the top of the order. Shubman Gill has complimented him really well. The duo was prolific against RCB. Shubman, however, got out early against MI but Iyer went on to score a half-century. Rahul Tripathi, also played a blistering 74-run knock off 42 balls, including 8 fours and 3 sixes.
