During the chase, DC opener Shikhar Dhawan hit 39 runs. DC lost few quick wickets in the middle-order which made the game a nail-biting one. In the end, DC’s Shimron Hetmyer hit unbeaten 28 runs off 18 balls to get the winning runs for the team in the final over.
Talking about Punjab Kings, the team lost their previous game to Royal Challengers Bangalore. Bowling first, PBKS restricted RCB to 164-7 in 20 overs. Openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal hit 25 and 40 respectively. Later, Glenn Maxwell smashed fabulous 57 runs quickfire. AB de Villiers also hit 23 runs.

During the chase, PBKS Kings dominated the match during the start. Openers KL Rahul (39) and Mayank Agarwal (57) made a 91-run stand. However, after the openers got out, other batsmen could not take charge of the batting. Yuzvendra Chahal’s 3-wicket haul twisted the game in RCB’s favour. In the end, RCB won the match by 6 runs.
