DC vs CSK Head to Head Records: Delhi Capitals’ (DC) H2H Record Against Chennai Super Kings (CSK)- IPL 2021 Match 50. Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals are slated to take on each other in the 50th match of IPL 2021 on Monday. Chennai Super Kings are at the top of the table with 9 wins in 12 matches. The last time CSK played against Delhi, they suffered a seven-wicket defeat.
Their last game this season on Saturday also resulted in a defeat. In a bid to maintain the top position, CSK has to win their remaining two games. Ruturaj Gaikwad was sensational for them in the last game. He produced an outstanding knock of 100 runs off just 60 deliveries. His knock helped the team post a formidable 189-run total in the first innings.

The bowlers, however, couldn’t deliver in an important game. Deepak Chahar and Dwayne Bravo both rested in the last game and it had a toll on their performance. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube scored their maiden half-centuries and helped the team chase down the score in just 17.3 overs. Shardul Thakur was the only bowler who looked effective. He finished with figures of 2 for 30 but other than that, no one really made an impact.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, would be high on confidence. Avesh Khan’s consistent performances with the ball have made DC’s bowling attack even more threatening. He picked three wickets in the last game and Axar Patel also bowled beautifully for his 3 for a 21-run spell. Thanks to those fine performances, Delhi restricted MI to just 129 runs in the first innings.

There are concerns in the batting department, however. Runs aren’t coming from the bat of Prithvi Shaw and Steve Smith. Delhi Capital’s top three got out for just 30 runs in the second innings. Shreyas Iyer’s comeback into the side has been a blessing for them in the second leg.
Once again, he stood up with the bat and guided the team home in 19.1 overs. He stitched crucial partnerships with Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel and Ravi Ashwin to deny MI take control of the game. Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 33 off 33 balls, helping the side chase down the score in 19.1 overs.
