DC vs RR- Prediction, Who Will Win The Match Between Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals? IPL 2021 Match 36. The 36^th match of IPL 2021 sees Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday. This will be the second time when both these two sides take on each other in this season. Rajasthan Royals won the game by 3 wickets in their last encounter on 15^th April 2021 at Wankhede Cricket Stadium.

A lot has happened since in terms of the results of both sides. Delhi Capitals have climbed to the top of the table with 7 wins in 9 matches. RR, on the other hand, have managed to win 4 games out of 8 and thus find themselves at fifth position on the points table.

Delhi Capitals are coming into this game on the back of an impressive 8-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada played their first game together this season. Both combined to pick 5 wickets, while Axar Patel picked two crucial wickets as well. Because of regular strikes, Sunrisers Hyderabad couldn’t build partnerships and post a competitive score on the board. Kane Williamson and Co. were restricted to 134 runs at the end of the first innings.

Delhi Capitals chased down the total quite comfortably. Runs came from the bat of all of their top-four batsmen. Shikhar Dhawan played a matured 42-run knock off 37 balls and set the tone for the run-chase. Shreyas Iyer (47 off 41) and Rishabh Pant (35 off 21) remained unbeaten till the end and guided the team home.

Facing them are RR, who registered an astonishing 2-run win over Punjab Kings in their last game. Rajasthan Royals’ batting has looked far more settled with the addition of Evin Lewis and Liam Livingstone in the squad.

Lewis opened the innings in the last game and scored a handy 36 runs off 21 balls. Yashasvi Jaiswal too played a great knock of 49 runs off 36 balls. Liam Livingstone continued his fine run with the bat, scoring 25 off 17 balls. Mahipal Lomror’s 43 off 17 balls should encourage a lot of optimism in the squad.

The bowlers, however, presented disappointing numbers. The fielders too disappointed by dropping a number of catches. Punjab have maintained the required-run rate throughout the innings. However, the last two overs saw the game turn in Rajasthan’s favour. Mustafizur Rahman and Kartik Tyagi defended only 7 runs in the final two overs to help the team win the game in the end.
