DC vs RR: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Predicted Playing XI Against Delhi Capitals (DC)- IPL 2021 Match 36. Rajasthan Royals will play their second game of the UAE leg of IPL 2021 against table-toppers Delhi Capitals on Saturday. They are coming into the game on the back of a morale-boosting 2-run win against Punjab Kings.
A collective batting effort from the franchise helped them post a formidable 185-run total against Punjab. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Evin Lewis, Liam Livingstone and Mahipal Lomror made significant contributions to the total. The bowlers, however, didn’t bowl at great areas and offered a lot of freebies to KL Rahul and Co. There were a lot of dropped catches as well which RR definitely need to work on.

In spite of all that, Rajasthan Royals managed to win the game by 2 runs in the end. A heart-warming bowling performance in the last two overs by Muztafizur Rahman and Kartik Tyagi helped the team snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Ahead of the game against Delhi Capitals, here’s a look at their predicted playing XI.
DC vs RR: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Predicted Playing XI Against Delhi Capitals (DC)- IPL 2021 Match 36
1. Openers: Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal

Roped in as a replacement for Jos Buttler in the squad for the second leg of IPL 2021, Evin Lewis was included in the playing XI in the very first game against Punjab Kings. The southpaw gave a great start to the side, scoring 36 runs off just 21 balls.
Lewis’s great form with the bat is likely to keep the team in good stead. His partner, Yashasvi Jaiswal also played a great knock of 49 runs off 36 deliveries, which was laced with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
2. Middle-Order: Sanju Samson, Liam Livingstone and Mahipal Lomror

Skipper Sanju Samson had a forgettable outing in the last game, scoring just 4 runs off 5 deliveries. However, Samson has shown great consistency this season and you can expect him to bounce back. Liam Livingstone’s presence at number four makes this side a formidable batting unit. He is currently in the form of his life. The RR batsman scored 25 runs off 17 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six.
Mahipal Lomror played his first game for RR this season and made headlines with a swashbuckling 17-ball 43-run knock. His knock was laced with 2 fours and 4 sixes. He will be a player to watch out for against Delhi on Saturday.
3. All-rounders: Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia and Chris Morris

Riyan Parag made forgettable returns this season. In 8 matches, he has only managed to score 82 runs and pick one wicket. However, he is likely to keep his place in the eleven. Rahul Tewatia too, hasn’t impressed a lot this season. He scored 2 runs off 5 balls in the last game and picked 1 wicket with the ball.
Chris Morris, who was exceptional last season, hasn’t started the second leg on a bright note. Morris was smacked for 47 runs in his four overs without any wicket to his name. With the bat, he scored 5 runs off 5 balls.
4. Bowlers: Chetan Sakariya, Kartik Tyagi and Mustafizur Rahman
Chetan Sakariya went for more than 10 runs an over in his three-over spell. Besides, he was sloppy in the field too. He took the important wicket of KL Rahul but has a lot to improve on.
Kartik Tyagi and Mustazfizur Rahman were two bright spots in Rajasthan’s bowling attack against Punjab. Needing 8 runs to win the match in 12 deliveries, Mustafizur and Tyagi gave away only 5 runs to snatch victories from the jaws of defeat.
With 4 runs needed in the last over, Kartik Tyagi produced a sensational over as he picked two wickets and gave away just one run with the ball.
