Murali Vijay scored a splendid 127 run knock off just 56 balls that took the team total to 246 for the loss of five wickets.
In reply, Naman Ojha and Watson almost took the team but eventually fell short by 23 runs after a quick loss of wickets. Dhoni came in at five for the CSK team and was dismissed for a first-ball duck by Shane Watson.
