Royal Challengers Bangalore opening batsman Devdutt Padikkal has had the chance to rub shoulders with some of the best cricketers in the world. Devdutt Padikkal impressed Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers with his record-breaking performance last year in the UAE and hopes to do more this year. The 20-year old heaped praises on the senior cricketers and underlined his experience of playing with them, especially Glenn Maxwell.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore are the only team that remains unbeaten in IPL 2021 so far as they have beat Mumbai Indians and SunRisers Hyderabad. All-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who was one of the costliest buys in the auction, has starred in both the games with match-defining knocks. Aside from that, Royal Challengers’ bowling attack that has come under fire often also impressed in both their fixtures.

Devdutt Padikkal mentioned that it feels incredible to play with top-notch cricketers like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell as they have plenty of experience under their belt and they know how to react in different situations. Padikkal hailed Glen Maxwell, who has ample knowledge about the game and that he is an asset to their group.

“Yeah, definitely it’s great to play with these people because they have so much experience under their belt and they exactly know how to react in different situations, especially Glenn Maxwell coming in, he has brought in so much experience, simply field positioning as well. So, he has so much knowledge about the game and it’s great to have such people around the group,” Padikkal told in an interview ahead of the clash against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
