The West Indies great Brian Lara has opined that Kagiso Rabada’s form is a huge concern for Delhi Capitals (DC) heading into the Qualifier 2 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

Delhi Capitals (DC) is all set to lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Qualifier 2 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Star pacer Rabada has not looked in good touch in the last few games. In the last 4 games, the Proteas bowler has gone wicketless. Overall he is the 3rd highest wicket-taker for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021 with 13 wickets in his bag. Avesh Khan sits at the top of the wickets tally with 23 scalps and Axar Patel comes second with 15 wickets under his belt.

During a chat with Star Sports, the West Indies legend Brian Lara opined Rabada’s form is a concern as he played a big part in helping Delhi Capitals reach the finals of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Lara Stated:

Yes (his form is a concern for Delhi), he is an exceptional talent. He played a very big part in them getting to the finals, he got a lot of wickets in the middle and back end overs with slower balls and that is not been happening for him off late,

Notably, Delhi Capitals (DC) reached the finals of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 and Rabada was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 30 wickets under his belt.

Lara further added that Anrich Nortje has been doing great for Delhi Capitals but DC will love to see Kagiso Rabada back in his prime form. Brian Lara Stated:

When you got Anrich Nortje doing the business upfront, you want a world-class bowler who can do what he did in the previous tournaments, which he hasn’t. and this has cost him a little bit of anxiousness. I suppose Delhi Capital will love to see Rabada back in form,” said Lara.
