Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will go head to head with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 United Arab Emirates (UAE) leg on September 20 at Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

When the first half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 ended both the teams had completely different outcomes. On one side the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had won 5 out of 7 games and were placed at number 3 spot. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were placed at the 7th spot with only 4 points in their bag. Things were not going good for the Eoin Morgan-led side and they managed to win only 2 out of 7 games played in the league.

Meanwhile, this will be the second time KKR will be facing RCB in IPL 2021. The first match between the teams took place in Chennai on April 18, 2021, and RCB won that game by 38 runs. Notably, RCB posted huge 204 runs on the board which team Kolkata Knight Riders ( KKR) was unable to chase.

Notably, he was provided with the permanent batting slot of number 4 which turned out to be an excellent thing for the Australian batsman as well the Virat Kohli-led franchise.

In the first phase of IPL 2021, KKR spinner Sunil Narine picked 3 wickets in 4 games at an average, economy, and strike rate of 37.33, 7.00, and 32.00. Although these stats aren’t impressive still Sunil Narine can’t be judged based on stats. He has got the potential to bowl economic spells and dismiss any batsmen in the world.

It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious in the battle between these two.

The Indian Captain facing the Indian mystery spinner will turn out to be one of the most delightful battles to watch out for. The Indian and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli will be looking forward to taking revenge against KKR spinner Varun Chakravarthy.

Notably, Varun Chakravarthy was the one who dismissed Virat Kohli in the first phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the score of 5.

Talking about the performances of the players in the first phase of the tournament Varun picked 7 wickets in 7 games. Also after a good run in the Indian Premier League ( IPL), Varun Chakravarthy has successfully found his place in India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 event.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli scored 198 runs in 7 matches for the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He will be hoping for even better performance in the UAE leg of the cash-rich league.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj is undoubtedly the most improved pacer in recent times. With his continuous improvement and impressive run, Siraj was awarded a place in India’s playing XI in Test cricket in the marquee Test series against England national cricket team.

So far the battle between Russell and Siraj are evenly matched, however, it is slightly tilted towards in the favor of Indian speedster. In 2018 Mohammed Siraj dismissed Andre Russell on the very first ball. Meanwhile, in 2019 Russell smashed runs at the strike rate of 242.9 against Siraj.

In the first phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Siraj picked 6 wickets in 7 games. On the other hand, Andre Russell smashed 163 runs at an average of 27.16 and a strike rate of 155.23. Also, he bagged 7 wickets with his medium-pace deliveries.

It will be fascinating to see who will come out on top in the battle between KKR’s Andre Russell and RCB’s Mohammed Siraj.
