The IPL 2021 saw Chennai Super Kings clinching the trophy after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the final. KKR, who lost both the games against CSK during the group stage, cannot defeat CSK in the final game as well. Batting first, CSK posted 192-3 with 86 runs by Faf du Plessis. Lockie Ferguson takes the 5th spot in the list. Ferguson once bowled a delivery at 152.35 km/hr. This was the 5th fastest delivery in IPL 2021. Ferguson was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament. He warned the bench during the first leg. However, after the ouster of Pat Cummins from the UAE leg, he got a chance in the playing XI and gave some impressive performances.

The KKR pacer once bowled a delivery at a speed of 152.75 km/hr, which was the 3rd fastest delivery in the tournament. The right-arm pacer emerged as a crucial bowler for KKR in the UAE leg, picking 13 wickets in just 8 matches.

Umran Malik bowled the 2nd fastest delivery in IPL 2021. The Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer bowled a delivery at a speed of 152.95 in his debut game, which ended as the 2nd fastest delivery of the season. Malik played 3 games in the tournament and scalped 2 wickets at an average of 48.0 and an economy of 8.0.
