It is a known fact that Prithvi Shaw is very good against the fast bowlers and it was evident in the first leg between these two teams where the youngster hit Shivam Mavi for 6 continuous fours in an over. Shaw has been in excellent touch in the first phase of IPL and he scored 82 in the first leg against KKR. He will fancy his chances against the KKR quicks.

However, Eoin Morgan has been spot on with his tactics and he will know the threat that Prithvi Shaw possesses with the bat. Shaw has struggled against the spinners especially to get going and it won’t be a surprise if Shaw is presented with Sunil Narine as the bowler to face. Narine has got a bag full of tricks that will work against the right-hand dasher.

Anrich Nortje Vs Shubman Gill:

Shubman Gill has generally liked the ball coming onto the bat nicely and he hasn’t been tested so far with raw pace. He has found ways to get out in recent times after looking so good with the bat and he will not cherish it. The youngster has got immense potential to be getting out so often.

Gill’s challenge will be up against Anrich Nortje who will start off the bowling and the raw pace of Nortje might not be easy for Gill to play on the rise shots. Nortje also has a short ball that will be difficult to control for the batsman and hence, Nortje will be cranking it up against Gill especially.

Andre Russell vs Avesh Khan:

Andre Russell is the biggest match-winner in the side for the KKR and Delhi will certainly be looking to get rid of him as soon as possible. Delhi has the choices of three fast bowlers in the side who have the ability to hit the late 140sa and they won’t be easy to line up for even a hard hitter like Andre Russell.

It will be clear, that the Indian fast bowler Avesh Khan had great success in the first phase of IPL 2021 and he is the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2021. Avesh has worked on nailing his yorkers and he is a very clever bowler as well. He will certainly be aware of the Russell factor and it will be an interesting battle between these players.
