Kolkata Knight Riders are at fourth position on the table. They have won 5 games this season and lost seven. Despite seven losses, they are still in contention of making the playoffs. KKR have two games left and need to win both of them to give themselves a chance.

The last time when KKR faced SRH, Nitish Rana scored 80, while Rahul Tripathi scored a half-century. Both continue to be in great form with the bat and will be two of the vital players for the side in the batting department. Besides, Venkatesh Iyer has also been in sensational form and will be the player to watch out for.

It remains to be seen whether Andre Russell and Lockie Ferguson get fit for the game. The absence of the duo hurt the team badly in the last game. Eoin Morgan’s poor form isn’t helping the team either. Shakib Al Hasan is warming the bench. It will be interesting to see if gets a chance in the next game and for whom.

KKR scored 165 runs in their last game against Punjab Kings. Iyer scored 67- the highest score in his IPL career, while Rana scored 31 off 18 balls. KKR missed Russell and Ferguson badly and thus failed to defend the total.

The last time when Hyderabad played against KKR, Manish Pandey and Jonny Bairstow scored vital knocks but both are out of the playing XI for Sunday’s game. The onus will be on Jason Roy and Kane Williamson as far as batting is concerned.

Both of them made poor returns in the last game against CSK. Sunrisers Hyderabad will once again find themselves in trouble if neither of them makes a substantial contribution with the bat. Wridhimman Saha is in decent form and once could expect him to score another valuable knock on Sunday.

Thanks to his 44-run knock, SRH managed to score 134 runs in the first innings against CSK in their last game. Jason Holder fought hard with the ball in the second innings, however, none of the other bowlers made a significant impact in the game.

CSK, as a result of that, chased down the score in 19.4 overs. SRH are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table. They have managed to win 2 matches out of 11 and it doesn’t look like they would win more games further this season.
