MI vs DC: 3 MI Players Who Can Win The Man Of The Match Award, IPL 2021 Match 46. The defending champions Mumbai Indians and the runner-up of IPL 2020 Delhi Capitals will lock horns against each other in an exciting battle tomorrow. Both these teams have some exciting players on the side and this will be one belter of a contest between the sides. The first leg saw the Delhi Capitals emerging on the winning side and Mumbai Indians will be looking to take revenge.

Delhi will be the happier of the two teams coming into this fixture as they are placed 2nd in the points table and they have the luxury of qualifying for the playoffs despite losing this game. Mumbai Indians on the other hand are in a must-win situation at the moment and here are 3 MI players who can win the man of the match award against DC.

The Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has been looking shaky in the last two games and he will be looking to make a big score in this fixture. He generally likes to take responsibility against the big teams and he will play an important role if they have to win against a tough Delhi Capitals side.

Rohit has the ability to change gears quickly and it has been one of his highlights of talent with the bat. The prolific opener has to provide good starts to the Mumbai side for the middle order to play with a lot more freedom and this will be the right time for him to bring his A-game into play.

Hardik Pandya:

Hardik Pandya showed that he still is a fine batsman in the middle order in the previous game when the team needed him the most and it certainly would have reduced a whole lot of pressure on him. The right-hander played a game-changing inning of 40 off 30 balls against Punjab Kings and helped his side overcome defeat.

However, he did not bowl in the game against Punjab Kings which was the most surprising part and Mumbai will ideally want him to back with the ball. He is more than just an all-rounder and can change the course of the game very quickly. Hardik’s form will be crucial to Mumbai Indians in IPL 2021 as well as for India’s plans in the T20 Worldcup.

Trent Boult:

Trent Boult was one of the stars of the Mumbai Indians side in the previous season of IPL 2020 and was among the top wicket-takers. He hasn’t been that effective so far in IPL 2021 with the wickets tally coming down considerably and he has not been producing the breakthroughs in the powerplay as well.

However, Boult has generally troubled the Delhi Capitals openers with his swing bowling and he will fancy his chances in the fixture tomorrow. He will be one of the players to watch out for in the game against Delhi and he is due in for a big performance as well.
