RCB vs KKR- Prediction, Who Will Win The Match Between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders? IPL 2021 Eliminator. Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator match of IPL 2021 on Monday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The two teams faced each other twice this season and both teams have managed to win one match apiece.
Royal Challengers Bangalore finished at number three position at the end of the league stage. They finished the league stage with a morale-boosting seven-wicket win over Delhi Capitals. Their best bet in the batting line-up, Glenn Maxwell scored yet another half-century, while Srikar Bharat played a heroic 78-run unbeaten knock off 52 deliveries to help his team chase down the 164-run target on the last ball of the match.
Despite the win, RCB would be worried about the poor form of Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal and Ab de Villiers. All of them got out without making much of a contribution in the last game. The trio has struggled to bat on the slow tracks in UAE. For RCB to win the game on Tuesday, someone from the trio has to play a big knock with the bat.
Contrary to the batting, RCB’s bowling unit doesn’t require any addition or change. Harshal Patel’s great run has kept the team in good stead. He now has 30 wickets in 14 matches. Chahal has 16 wickets in 14 matches, while Siraj picked 2 for 25 in the last game. RCB has failed to pick wickets in the powerplay and thus they might consider playing Kyle Jamieson on Monday.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders are in scintillating form. They have stood out in all departments in the second leg of IPL 2021. The openers, Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer have provided great starts, while the likes of Rahul Tripathi and Nitish Rana have capitalized on that on a consistent basis. Morgan and Karthik both added some runs and stayed unbeaten in the last game and that should give the side a lot more confidence.
The return of Lockie Ferguson has strengthened their bowling unit. He picked three wickets in the last game, while Shivam Mavi picked four. The spinners are doing an outstanding job and thus it isn’t going to be easy for RCB to put on a big score.
Looking at the recent form and team combination of both sides, Kolkata Knight Riders should go in as favourites.
