RCB vs KKR: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Predicted Playing XI Against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)- IPL 2021 Eliminator. For the second consecutive season, Royal Challengers Bangalore have managed to reach the playoffs. They went down to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the qualifier last year against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This year, they will be facing Kolkata Knight Riders and would be keen to win the game on Monday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Ahead of a must-win game, here’s a look at our predicted playing of Royal Challengers Bangalore against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Openers: Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal

Both Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal have failed to get going in the second leg of IPL 2021. They haven’t really set the tournament on fire this year. Virat Kohli played a couple of good-looking cameos but failed to convert those into big scores. Devdutt Padikkal looks really short on confidence.

He was involved in the unfortunate run-out of Glenn Maxwell the other day. He used up 52 balls to score 41 runs in that game. The last match saw him getting out on a duck. Nevertheless, the management won’t look to make a change in the opening combination in a must-win game.

Middle-Order: Srikar Bharat, Glenn Maxwell and Ab de Villiers

Given how Srikar Bharat batted in the last game, he is likely to come at number three, followed by Maxwell at four. Bharat has impressed one and all with his gutsy knocks this season.

The last game saw him winning the game for the side with a six on the last ball of the match. He played an unbeaten 78-run knock off 52 balls, while Maxwell scored his sixth half-century of the tournament.

AB de Villiers’ poor form is a big concern for RCB going into an important encounter. He spent some time in the middle in the last game, scoring 26 runs off 26 balls. The team would be hoping he plays a big knock on Tuesday.

All-rounders: Daniel Christian, Shahbaz Ahmed, Kyle Jamieson

Daniel Christian has been effective with the ball on the slow tracks of the UAE. He picked three wickets in the last two games. As an overseas player on the side, however, RCB would want him to contribute much more than that.

Shahbaz Ahmed too has proved to be effective with the ball. He has been bowling in the right areas, not allowing the batsmen to play freely. In a bid to add strength to the batting unit, Kyle Jamieson is likely to make his way back into the eleven.

Also, with RCB finding it difficult to pick wickets in the powerplay, Jamieson could be the solution for that.

Bowlers: Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal

Harshal Patel will once again be the go-to bowler for Virat Kohli in the must-win game. He has taken 30 wickets and RCB would be wanting him to pick a few more on Monday.

Much to the team’s delight, Siraj bowled an exceptional spell of 2 for 25 in 4 overs in the last game. Add Yuzvendra Chahal and it looks like a solid bowling unit.
