Dhoni Is Playing Pacers Quite Well In Practice – Sources
According to the source of TOI, Dhoni was confident that spinners will not be used when he comes into the crease. This meant that he could promote himself of Jadeja to have a maximum impact against the fast bowlers and so far his struggles have been against spin. He whacked Avesh Khan for a humungous six and then dominated the bowling of Tom Curran.
“Dhoni is playing pacers quite well in practice as well…His problem has been spin, more specifically wrist spin and mystery spin. But yesterday (Sunday) he knew there would be no spinners bowling at the time he went in to bat,” A source said according to TOI.
