Rajasthan Royals lost their previous encounter to Delhi Capitals by 33 runs. Batting first, DC lost their openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan cheaply. Later, Shreyas Iyer scored 43 runs to build up the innings. Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer also added 24 and 28 runs respectively, taking the total to 154-6.
