Punjab Kings spinner Ravi Bishnoi has not only been impactful with the ball since he got drafted in the team in IPL 2021, but also on the field. After taking a diving catch off Sunil Narine’s bat against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Ravi Bishnoi snaffled a similar one against the Royal Challengers Bangalore to get rid of Harshal Patel. The wrist-spinner also picked two wickets to go with alongside the catch.

Harshal Patel, who had a forgettable day in the field, scored some invaluable runs in the end to reduce the Royal Challengers’ margin of loss. In the 20th over, after Patel got a boundary off Mohammed Shami’s third over, he lofted it to long-off for another four. Nevertheless, Bishnoi ran from the deep and lunged forward exceptionally well to grab the ball before it hit the ground.

Harshal Patel eventually departed for 31 off 13 balls, smashing three fours and two sixes, and added 48 off 23 deliveries with Kyle Jamieson. Patel, who is the purple cap holder, ended wicketless as he finished with figures of 4-0-53-0. He also gave 22 runs in the final over that seemed to have massively shifted the momentum towards the Punjab Kings. The Royal Challengers eventually lost by 34 runs, suffering their second defeat in IPL 2021.
