Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni would be keen to assert dominance over Gujarat Titans (GT) as GT have got ‘n’ match winners present in the side. It would be interesting to see whether MS Dhoni makes any changes to the combination. The clash between CSK & GT was abandoned on 28th May due to incessant rain and the match would be played on 29th May (reserve day).

CSK’s bowlers would be tested against GT’s batting lineup as the onus will be on the senior left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja to dry up boundaries in the middle overs. CSK will have to make sure that they get rid of Shubman Gill quickly as the batter is in the form of his life.

Surprisingly, the shrewd spinner Mitchell Santner has warmed up benches despite having the knack of playing a breezy cameo for the team at the back end of the innings. He along with Ravindra Jadeja can spurn a web across GT’s threatening batting lineup.

GT skipper Hardik Pandya has stood behind his bowlers in tough situations of the match. The pitch at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad is expected to be a rank turner and a belter as we can expect a high-scoring thriller.

The deadly duo of Mohit Sharma & Mohammed Shami will have a strenuous task against the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad & Devon Conway. It seems that the template would be the same for CSK as Ruturaj Gaikwad will play the role of aggressor and Conway will bat as deep as possible and then capitalize on loose deliveries.

MS Dhoni was born to win trophies – Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag was having an interaction with Cricbuzz. Sehwag stated that MS Dhoni was born to win championships and made a huge remark that no Indian captain has had so much success in ICC tournaments and in IPL.

“MS Dhoni was born to win trophies. There hasn’t been any other captain in India who has won as many trophies. T20-over world cup 50-over world cup, test championship, IPL. He’s here to win trophies,” said Virender Sehwag.
