Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, and Rinku Singh are the middle-order batters for KKR. Shreyas Iyer will bat at three, Nitish Rana at four, and Rinku Singh at five in the lineup.

KKR can look to target Manish Pandey and make him bat at number four and therefore extend the batting lineup till number eight with Tim Southee coming in at that number. Manish Pandey had his best years in the IPL for KKR and knowing that he is available, Kolkata should try to get him in.

2. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

SRH have the highest remaining purse after the retention window, With a purse of 42.25 crores, the franchise needs good quality Indian batters, and Manish Pandey will be on the radar for SRH.

He is a flexible batter and played several key knocks for the franchise while he stayed with the team for four seasons. Between 2019 and 2021, Manish Pandey scored 1345 runs in 51 games for the franchise at an average of 35.39 and striking at 124.77.

3. Gujarat Titans (GT)

The Gujarat Titans franchise does not have a good middle order. They have several inexperienced players like Abhinav Manohar, Sai Sudarshan, and Vijay Shankar.

The latter despite getting many opportunities has not given his best in the IPL so far. Manish Pandey can be a good option for the franchise. They can send him to bat at number three and set the platform for the likes of David Miller and Hardik Pandya to finish games.
