3. Ajinkya Rahane
Ajinkya Rahane is the first Indian player who might go unsold in IPL 2023 auction. The right-handed batsman was released by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the mini-auction. Rahane is a popular Indian player who has also played many international matches for India.
However, since he is a Test specialist, he is not considered an advantage in the T20 format like IPL. Last season, he scored just 133 runs in 7 games for KKR after which, he was dropped from the playing XI.

2. Manish Pandey
Manish Pandey is another big Indian player who might go unsold in IPL 2023 auction. Manish Pandey was part of Lucknow Super Giants in the last season but due to his poor show, the franchise released him from the squad.
Last season, the right-handed batsman could only score 88 runs in 6 games. Due to his poor show, the team also benched him in many games. After his bad performance last season, franchises might shy away from bidding for him in IPL 2023 auction.

Mayank Agarwal is another big Indian player who might go unsold during IPL 2023 auction. Agarwal was the skipper of Punjab Kings in the last season but the franchise has released him from the squad.
Punjab Kings could not reach playoffs under his captainship and Agarwal also came up with a poor show last season. He scored 196 runs in 12 games at an average of 16.33. Agarwal also fails to get a chance in the national team nowadays. Hence, the right-handed batsman might go unsold during the auction.
