Shardul Thakur
Delhi Capitals had included Shardul Thakur in their team in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction by paying Thakur more than Rs 10 crore, but there are reports that now the team does not seem to be satisfied with his performance.
Shardul Thakur played 14 matches for his team in IPL 2022 and took 15 wickets, but in terms of runs, he could score only 150 runs for his team during this period. Prior to Delhi Capitals, Shardul Thakur was playing for MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK, but he was released and was taken by Delhi Capitals by paying a hefty amount in the auction.
KS Bharat
KL Bharat was picked up by Delhi Capitals for Rs 2 crore and Mandeep Singh for Rs 1.10 crore. Although the special thing is also that KS Bharat did not get a chance to play for his team, because the captain of the team is Rishabh Pant, who himself also does wicket-keeping.
