Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have submitted their list of released players for the IPL 2023 auction. The four-time IPL winners have released a total of 10 players from their squad.
IPL 2023 auction is set to take place on December 23 in Kochi, according to BCCI’s current plans. The Indian cricket board had asked all the 10 IPL franchises to submit their list of retained and released players by the November 15 deadline. IPL 2023 auction will be a mini-auction.

Last season, CSK had a poor show after finishing in the 9th place in the points table. The IPL 2021 champions played 14 matches in the last season. They lost 10 games and managed to bag just 4 wins. With just 8 points, the MS Dhoni-led side failed to reach the playoffs.
Last season, no CSK batter managed to cross the 400-run mark. Ruturaj Gaikwad was the top performer for the team with 368 runs in 14 games, followed by Shivam Dube with 289 runs in 11 matches. Dwayne Bravo and Mukesh Choudhary were the top performers with bowl, hunting 16 wickets each.
Although Chennai Super Kings came up with a miserable performance last season, they are known to make comebacks every time.
