According to reports, the legendary wicket-keeper-batter MS Dhoni is all set to play his final IPL edition. Dhoni had said that he would like to play in front of his home crowd before bidding adieu to IPL as this time BCCI is set to bring back the home and away venue system.
CSK would be hoping for a better season this time as in 2022 they were completely outplayed and finished in 9th position.

Great Chance for CSK
Last year, CSK surprisingly made Ravindra Jadeja the skipper which somewhat changed the dynamics of the team as Jadeja didn’t have ample experience in captaining the side. CSK this time has a formidable squad and at the same time, they would cherish the opportunity of playing at their home ground where they have a pretty good record. The fans would be hoping that there are no sluggish wickets.
It would be interesting to see how CSK uses Ben Stokes, as they already have Moeen Ali’s services available. There are chances that CSK management use Moeen Ali as a finisher because Stokes is someone who needs time before unleashing an attack on the opposition.
