IPL 2023 is expected to be a fascinating contest as this time BCCI is set to introduce home & away venues for the tourney. There might be even a contest between bat & ball as last time the fans experienced a run-fest as all the matches were played in Pune & Mumbai due to Covid-19.

The new BCCI President Roger Binny will have a strenuous task on his hands as this time BCCI managing the workload of players would be quite tough as most likely India will qualify for the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) final which is scheduled in June just after the conclusion of IPL 2023.

Delight for Delhi Capitals (DC)

The 2019 IPL edition was a breakthrough year for the franchise where the team had reached the playoffs after 2012. The DC fans would be thrilled to see both Head Coach Ricky Ponting & Sourav Ganguly work together once again as the duo has a quite gripping history.

It is assumed that Rishabh Pant won’t be available for the first half of the tournament due to his accident. The management will have to be careful in naming the next captain and it looks most likely that an overseas player would lead the side. It would be interesting to see how DC fares under Sourav Ganguly as we can see some fierce action.
