LSG vs DC: Watch - Mark Wood Bamboozles Prithvi Shaw And Mitchell Marsh With Sensational Deliveries In IPL 2023

Delhi Capitals (DC) had won the toss & opted to bowl first against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). DC’s score at the end of 4 overs was 40 for the loss of no wickets. Mark Wood was bowling the 5th over & on the 3rd delivery, Wood knocked off Shaw’s stumps by bowling an in-swinging length delivery. Shaw was dismissed on 12 runs in 9 balls where he struck 2 fours. Mitchell Marsh came into bat where Mark Wood bowled a fuller delivery & rattled Mitchell Marsh’s stumps & was dismissed him for a duck. DC’s score at that time was 40-2 in 4.4 overs where David Warner was on 26 runs in 18 balls.

Uphill Task for DC

DC skipper David Warner now needs to make sure that he bats till the end of the innings & capitalizes on loose deliveries & at the same, it won’t be easy for the new batter to go berserk from ball 1. All eyes would be on Sarfaraz Khan as the right-handed batter is in sublime form in the domestic circuit.

It won’t be a surprise if Mark Wood bowls another over as he is generating sheer pace & so far has shown good control over his line & length. The pitch doesn’t have any significant demons where LSG will have to keep on picking wickets as DC bat quite deep as they have got the likes of Rovman Powell & Rilee Rossouw present.
